Energy Code Survey is COMPLETE!

This award recognizes an individual or team for sustained service of the highest caliber in the pursuit of energy efficiency goals. This award honors the memory of Jeff Johnson, and exemplifies Jeff's enthusiasm, his motivation and drive for innovation, and his can-do, no-fear attitude for making a difference.

Code Development News!

Commercial:

  • NOW AVAILABLE - ANSI/ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-2007 for all commercial buildings, except low-rise residential
  • Energy reductions were achieved through new requirements related to lighting, facades, and mechanical systems.  Read more about the update in BCAP's Code News.

Residential:

  • The development committee for the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) met in Palm Spings at the end of February and approved code changes that would significantly improve the energy efficiency of the 2009 code.  Updates will be voted on in September at the ICC Final Action Hearings in Minneapolis.
