Building Codes Assistance Project

The U.S. Department of Energy has issued the guidelines for states to receive grant funding under the agency's State Energy Program (SEP) appropriated through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  The bill passed by Congress on February 13 allocated over $20 billion for energy efficiency initiatives, including $3.1 billion for energy assistance grants for states that adopt and administer the national model building energy codes.
